Spencer's fun facts
 
1. I grew up on the Jersey Shore. Yes, I've met Bruce Springsteen (twice). Yes, I'm a huge fan.
 
2. I participated in a 65-mile bike tour from Philadelphia to Atlantic City. While I did officially complete it in good time, I missed the start point, didn't end up getting tracked, and ended up doing my own route through South Jersey. I received an incredibly painful sunburn and ended up in last place! The good news is that I stopped for a smoothie along the way.
 
3. I went to Iowa once. The roadside stop had a coffee shop that didn't have coffee.

Spencer Barrett

Founder + CO-CEO

I’m from the Jersey Shore and one of the Co-Founders and Co-CEOs of Ragnarok, a full-service agency. My decade-plus background in television, advertising, and management has afforded me ample experience working with capstone institutions like the BBC, CBS, and National Geographic, experience which helps me oversee the creative, client management, and operations departments.

As a leader of Ragnarok’s seasoned professionals, I’m versed in a holistic approach to cross-channel marketing. This means maintaining a dexterous team that’s as comfortable with an ESP migration or data attribution reboot as they are with writing an entire post-sale sequence or redesigning a site. In short: we have a big wheelhouse and are always adding new abilities.

I continually push myself and Ragnarok to evolve and stay ahead of the competition: that’s why I ensure all staff is trained and certified in best-in-breed marketing tools. With amazing people at the helm of our creative, strategic, and marketing technology consulting teams, Ragnarok has earned its reputation as a full-service solution.

I’m one of the Co-Founders and Co-CEOs of Ragnarok, a full-service agency. I cultivated over 10 years of experience in the realms of marketing, product, business, and technology and apply that experience daily as I guide an extraordinary team of professionals towards considered, data-driven solutions.

I grew up working in my father’s model train store, working alongside my brothers under my mother’s supervision. While my fascination with electric trains wore off rather quickly, it allowed me to develop an appreciation for interconnected systems at a young age. That’s why I immersed myself in CRM and email marketing roles, flourishing in the early stages of Birchbox. Today, I’m proud to direct and mentor a broad spectrum of Ragnarokers from strategists to designers to developers in producing the vital work that directly contributes to a company’s vision.

As an individual with a penchant for learning, I constantly monitor the world of MarTech in order to keep my team certified in best-in-breed software such as Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, and Segment to name a few. Ultimately, I strive to effectuate the vanguard solutions that translate into the benchmarks that inform contemporary thought leadership. It’s my belief that great customer experiences are generated by great teams and I’m proud to co-lead one of the best.
